Some parents believe that their child should go to school this fall, while others currently prefer online learning. During this past school year, students in Maryland had to switch from the classroom to online learning due to COVID-19. With the coronavirus not showing any signs of backing down, Maryland school officials are still weighing the options of welcoming kids back to school, hosting online-school from home, or a combination of both. Chico, medical director of Emergency Psychiatry at GBMC discusses ways parents can help prepare their kids and offer advice on how they can help ease their kid's fears about going back to school.
